Hello all my blog friends,
I have just explored LibraryThing. It is an amazing site. There are lots of resources to find books by title, author, publisher etc. I signed up and created a short list. Week 3 #8 & 9
I have discovered bloglines!! After reviewing the site, I created some helpful site feeds to share with you all. Please check out my bloglines at http://bloglines.com/public/kfrey. There are a lot of interesting resources to choose from. This has become a challenge to me to learn more and more about the mysterious computer. I am having fun and hope you all enjoy what I have learned.

Week 3 #7

I remember the first time I saw a digital camera. I thought it was incredible that you could immediately see your image on the small screen. I thought about all the times I had sent film to be developed, waiting for days, sometimes weeks for my pictures safe return. Then I would find half the shots did not turn out the way I had expected. Now I can take a small card to Walmart and have my pictures the next day. I love my digital camera (if only I could remember to keep it charged) This achievement in technology is something I truly appreciate.

Week 3 #6

I hope everyone likes the roses I discovered exploring mashups. I think it will take some time but slowly I am learning more and more. My kids can not believe I actually have a blog. I am doing this for them ,as well as, myself. Take time to smell the roses...................

I had a tough time with Flickr in the beggining. After exploring and searching( with help from a few) I managed to get my wedding picture on my blog. I hope you enjoy it.......

Week 1 Thing 2

I have just completed the 7 1/2 Habits of Lifelong Learning. I think the easiest habit for me is -#3 View problems as challenges. I have had MANY challenges in my life and have successfully overcome all of them. It has taken hard work and perseverance, but it has made me the person I am today. I think the hardest habit is 7 1/2 PLAY. With 2 jobs, 2 kids, a new husband, a mother, 5 cats, 1 dog, 2 fish, and 1 guinea pig.....my play time is severely limited. So my goal for the week is find time to play. Wish me luck.................
